On this first page of posts there are 3 threads talking up Tommy Shelby, De Ferran and She's a Pearl, all positive all started by me. There is 1 started by me talking about the abhorrent accusations of Live Baiting and in the initial post I state "If found guilty".

I try to be positive, but when people come here mouthing off how others should be spending more time on their dogs rather than commenting. Then we find out those very same people have been caught out as drug cheats themselves recently, obviously not practising what they preach. I'll call it out.

Paul,

Do you train, own and/or breed dogs and is Paul Dicks your real name?

Would it not be wise to let this matter run out in the courts, and not keep bringing it up for those who might wish to crucify the 99.9% of us who love and care for our dogs?

You do know what happened here in Australia in 2015 don't you, Howard? If found guilty jail wouldn't be out of the question IMO.

We did a lot of things 60 years ago we shouldn't have, doesn't mean it's right.

Great result. Be interesting to see if the police will also lay charges now GRSA have completed their investigation.

I feel sad for the boys. I'm sure they idolised their Dad. Now they can never have the wonderful career that was laid out for them.
Unless they move to Dubai? Or Florida? Ireland perhaps?

Yes it is sad for the boys. But it's even sadder for the industry, that these idiots did what they did. Saddest of all is the way the animals were mistreated.

I think the saddest thing is that anyone is allowed to trespass on your property and set up spy cameras and use it in evidence in a court of law under this BS surveillance devices act.

Therefore, if someone was suspected of being held hostage or against their will on a property OR there was a drug lab being conducted on a property OR illegal military grade firearms were being stored on a property , you are saying that if video surveillance was tendered in court then it should be considered in admissible?

These are all crimes against humanity and its our police systems way of trying to locate and prosecute criminals and protect our society.

In this day and age, live baiting of animals, not just in relation to greyhounds, but in relation to any cruelty to animal activity, is considered a crime and thus the gloves are off

Is that not the issue instead of the surveillance?

Out of interest does anyone know if there were actual cameras set up on the property itself, or an an adjacent property or by drone surveillance?

They've been using drones over in Swamp Land for years. They also go through your bins over there.

I am pretty sure that police would get a warrant to enable them to conduct surveillance in the cases you have listed. Sure you are right that living baiting is the main issue here but I still believe that all this does is encourage more loonies under the cruelty to animals banner to trespass on to properties with these spy cameras. I just believe it to be an invasion of privacy, if people know someone is doing something wrong they should report it and then go through the correct channels.
Thats just my opinion.

Yes I read the article below is the part you refer to;

"From first receiving the anonymous tip off about allegations of live baiting to advising the RSPCA and jointly raiding the premises took less than 24 hours, which is testament to the professionalism of our Integrity Department, Francis said.

So your saying within LESS then 24 hours the authorities got covert surveillance set up and got all this footage to hopefully be allowed to use it in court? Mate they had the footage handed to them that's why they raided the property and when they got sweet FA, they had to go the court to get approval to use the video evidence.
Well, that's the way I read it.

Youre right Sandro, but logically where does it end. Is using rats and rabbits in Lab experiments for science cruel. Is the euthanasia of thousands of unwanted dogs and cats cruel. Is the aborting of a surrogate mares foal so she can rear a thoroughbred foal cruel. Is the killing of livestock for human consumption cruel. Are rodeos cruel. Is the releasing of myxomatosis or calicivirus into wild rabbit populations cruel. Is setting a mouse trap cruel. It depends who you ask. Some antis want the using of Lab rats stopped but want the feral animals eradicated from their property. As Ive said before the killing of rabbits has been ongoing for years in Australia in many shapes and forms. From slow death viruses, gassing warrens, ripping warrens with dozers to 1080 and pindone poisons. Im not saying live baiting should be legal but why are the authorities allowing all of the above to happen if its about cruelty to animals. I do understand that our governing bodies want the best for our industry and are doing the right thing in regards to these matters. Cheers

Its a never ending argument Michael

Yes, maybe using rats in lab experiments could be deemed to be cruel but I haven't met a greenie or anti that want them around their house, in their pantry eating and shitting all over their food & floor and crawling over their bodies while they are sleeping

Plain & simple, they want them DEAD...as long as its done in a HUMANE manner, like RATSAK or some other poison or with their head stuck in a trap HA HA.. either way they aren't living in their world, are they?

So really its a bit of a BS argument....right?
