Goodluck with the Blaster at stud TJ any idea on price?
Thanks Simon, We realize it's a very competitive business. Especially with now so many son's of Fernando Bale standing.
Looking to start off at $1,250 Frozen & $1,750 Natural.
You couldn't find a pup to buy at that price Simon? Gee i hope that's not considered as Advertising?

Fair price TJ, you should touch base with your old bombers bum buddy Werty he's on track to take out the BJ Duffy tipping comp on the talk page (which you've conveniently ignored lol) and he's looking to offload first prize (diamond membership). Perfect opportunity to promote Fernando Blaster as you said a very competitive market and this could help you out, just an idea. cheers

Haha "bum buddies" lol. The only thing I have in common with Terry is that we support the same AFL team, and we never agreed about players, team changes, tactics etc., anyway as evidenced in the talk section when he used to frequent in the past.
I also don't want to be involved with promoting any particular stud dog Simon as it's very important to me not to have any bias toward sires when offering clients sire choices for their brood bitches. It may be perceived as a conflict of interest. I realise you meant well with your idea tho m8. Cheers.

Welcome to the list of Fernando Bale unproven sons at stud CLICK HERE Im unbiased, but a huge fan of the Blaster A lot too offer breeders, I see Blaster damline in the 60s Irish outcross to Which Chariot, Red Barrel directly over damline IMO very desirable blood for both Australian and Irish bitches
Great value for breeders.
Moscow declares Fernando Blaster will be a Blaster Sire Time will tell. Good luck Terry

Just sell him your diamond membership and take the wife out for a wine and dine, you might end up on the armpit lol and TJ and the Blaster can get going doing the jiggy jig. (no strings attached)

All is not lost with Tornado Tears...his brother Rippin Sam has surprised somewhat, with another smart youngster Running Express winning a heat of the Vince Curry in a nippy 30.69!

Interestingly, most of Sam's top progeny so far are linebred to Token Prince...could be a coincidence with only 10 or so litters racing...I would like to see how that develops over time as more litters hit the ground

I wasn't faulting Tornado Tears or Oh Mickey's stud credentials. Both have a empty tackle box so are unable to go to stud

Darren this pup should end up running 700 on his ear. IMO one of strongest damlines in the country for strength through Trojan Tears sits in his x path from both parents. I really love the tears line and I hope that SAM has plenty of litters to come to help preserve and re invigorate this line. With dogs like Kobble Creek and Over Flow long gone it doesnt tend to show up much these days. There was a Kobble Creek straw for sale about twelve months ago I tried to buy but missed by a day. If anyone out there in GD land has it and hasnt used it, and wants to sell it please get in touch. NB I know what it sold for. Over Flow was a good dam sire and its not hard to see why. Sorry not trying to hi jack this thread about FBs sons. There are ample good ones , will be interesting to see how many of them can throw on with a few already going well. Cheers

You can still find Over Flo in Keybow and also there are still ample vials of Allen Harper floating around as well

Hey Sandro, Allen Harper doesnt carry the Tears damline in the x path , hence the reason he may not have been as successful at stud as Keybow. For mine this is a dominant female line and although the dogs race well the bitches tend to maintain the line ex keybows sisters. I just remembered you had the straw I missed out on. From memory I think it ended up overseas.! If only I was a day earlier. I still dont think theres a huge amount of examples around . The fact that were even mentioning Allen Harper with respect to the dog as he was a brilliant racer but his stud career never really took off hence the amount of straws floating about. But as mentioned earlier hes not in the x path this damline. Cheers

I would tend to think he wasn't successful because no one really supported him, not because Tears damline wasn't in the X path.
Honestly how does a dual Group 1 winner in Melbourne and Sydney and multiple Group 1 finalist all over Australia and ran 29.5 at Wenty and 29.8 at The Meadows, get only 7 matings in his whole career. Its bizarre really.
Overall, he has had 7 litters that produced 32 pups
Wheeler Kennels bred to him 3 times with good bitches and got city winners from two of those litters, the 3rd was a 2 pup litter
His last litter was bred in 2018 and has a handy performer in it that has paid its way.
Outside of Wheeler Kennels and the bitch I put to him for a 1 pup litter, the other bitches were not city class but still produced a decent share of TAB winners
Anyway, back to Fernando sons
