I can't praise Methionine enough Peter. Its a super supplement that does more than just detox's the liver, its also great for curing bitches with low grade cystisis & other urinary tract issues. I used it on every greyhound I've had & never had a problem with them. Worth every cent in my opinion. Regards

Just 1 more thing .If you use Methionine tablets in conjunction with Hiprex tablets I 100% guarantee liver & urinary tract issues etc will never occur in your racing greyhounds.

This is all sound advice. But it's really not much about the substances so much as getting urinary pH levels to 5.5 The same can be achieved with cranberry juice, rose hip tea etc. It is about creating a bactericidal environment. And making urine acidic will break up crystals for the most part. The same principle used in many 'urinary formulas' by commercial manufacturers. Alkaline states are also good for other purposes which are easy to research. Depends what you wish to solve. Anyway.. this is useful for those who like reading... EXTERNAL LINK EXTERNAL LINK There are many ways to skin a cat and achieve the same outcome while saving your wallet. Note I'm on the kidney bit here not the liver detox references.
