He was a fantastic sire and I see him popping up in pedigrees still. But did anyone ever have a litter of pups by him with extremely short legs? The reason I ask is I dropped off a litter of pups to a breaker for a mate a few years ago. They had comically short legs, almost like Corgis. They tried their hearts out and had early speed, but obviously they had no stride length.

It doesn't matter what they look like if they're fast. But yeah some were a little bit short and stumpy
It isn't just magic sprite pups though that can be a little bit short legged. I've seen plenty of little dogs that could motor along that don't carry any magic sprite too

he has been an outstanding sire for many years I think he won the top sire award at albion park seven out of the last ten years or so his sons also have done very well at stud .he himself is a magnificent looking dog he is only 29kg in my opinion if you put small bitches to small dog most of the time they will be small I leant the hard way..
