A little known fact is Paul was very confident Fernando Bale would run 600m - the only reason he didn't was because he didn't want the dog viewed as a stayer/strong 600m dog and therefore detracting from his early stud career. He could have been easily a lot more than the fastest sprinter in town.
I heard him say the same thing, Nicholas. Apologies, their are a couple of egomaniacal sycophants on here who think they know it all.

The late P.Wheeler(G.R.H.S.) magic breeding at its best.
Its all about strength and breeding to strength
Everywhere you look in that pedigree, thats what you see
Thats the magic PAW creates with his breeding lines
Its a well manufactured pedigree Template Fifth Dam Frosty Bale a daughter of USA sire By Tar. Wheelers then put three consecutive Temlee sireline strains directly over damline. Light of Fire Sonic Flight Bartrim Bale then outcross sireline with Fernando, then back into a Temlee sireline strain with Allen Deed creating a Rassmussen. Many of Wheelers pedigrees are line bred to Temlee three times then outcross. Congratulations to Wheeler Kennels great product

Just wondering who may be those pre potent Rasmussen broods nowadays ? in the past I think they were Promises Free/Tara Silk,Pitstock Park and Secretly from memory. Have my suspicions that Dark Horizon may be one of them now, anyone any ideas as to who some others might be?

Without stating the obvious. It's nearly always crossing half or full brothers back into a pedigree that produces the RasX. The litter of the Century was always going to be a huge RasX possibility, with 5 or 6 brothers all going to stud. I'm just trying to think of recent brothers that have gone to stud that might be future RasX possibilities.

Feral Franky, Good Odds Harada who also have plenty of sisters who are doing well at producing top quality offspring. So Solar Pak should be a dam that will be duplicated to produce a Rasmussen breeding , along with her mother Tifi. It is quite possible a few of Solar Paks 1/2 sisters could be candidates too.
