I'm still owed a return service from a decade ago. I tried to arrange a replacement for the miss, but I was told the stud master was in trouble with the law. lol

People are jumping on the Goodsey Bandwagon lately because of this hot litter. But I think they are forgetting just how fantastic the dam line they come from is.

Again another brilliant Dam line. I'm not sure how much credit Goodsey deserves for this pup's ability.

Well that's not surprising considering the times this litter is running !
Goodesy is there DADDY, you can't dismiss that fact by saying it's all about the dam line.

Its grandmother Zipping Willow an outstanding Group sprinter was by Goodsey, followed on by going to Barcia Bale to produce the G1 Megastar winner Zipping Tayla

Its a combination of a great performing damline, great gene combination and superior rearing that has produced this pup

He was certainly an underutilised sire at the time he went to stud and ZW was probably his best progeny. This could be a classic case Sandro, of your theory of bringing old sires back into a pedigree to produce quality and reinvigorating a line.

I'm sure he has had an influence Stainesy, but it is an incredible line. I'm not sure if you put Moopsy or Boopsy Brood Bitches to Goodsey you will get the same success.

Well that's not surprising considering the times this litter is running !

I get your point, but it's an example of another fantastic race bitch from an incredible dam line. That's precisely what I'm getting at.

Dicks you point at one parent and say there's the answer !

I say it takes 2 to Tango, and his best Daughters turned out to be top broods !

Not a surprise considering he is a Son of Collision who has been a great Broody sire.

The best current example is the re-emergence of the New Tears sire line , even though far removed, via Droopys Sydney in Ireland

No doubt we will see plenty of his sons here with various untapped Irish damlines in Australia in the near future as our lines get choked by Barcia and Fernando Bale and later on KC And All/Gable Dodge sirelines

We only have a very narrow gene pool worldwide now that USA is virtually dead and buried

Lines will be continually recycled and metamorphed into the latest big thing

Theres a good chance that an underutilized sire line could re-emerge as a source of fast dogs

It will be up to astute breeders like Mike Ivers and others who have the guts to try things like Goodesy that will be rewarded

Most breeders in this country have a lot of options with different sirelines available, but are usually more focused on selling pups thus they gravitate to the latest popular sire rather than selecting the best option for their brood...just my opinion
