Hey guys, was wondering if anyone had any information on superior panama and how his pups are going in australia. Any great reports etc! If America is anything to go by, he is going to be something special here!

https:/ CLICK HERE Hopefully this link may work . For what its Worth I have been told first hand by a very highly respected Greyhound Vet that Superior Panama has a rock solid temperament. Was there a reason why his better performed brother was sent to Ireland and Panama kept at home ? I didnt ask but it Appears to have paid off . Interestingly we now have available 4 Sons of KC And All in this part of the World 3 in the flesh and Panama Frozen.

Just an observation but I wonder what criteria on a sire selection wouldn't cut it for PAW to use this bloke. Each to there own, but seems to he going well in the USA.

Unless the $5500 is a stumbling block, to a lot of people any outcross is just to freshen up the bloodlines and provided the sire has 4 legs it's as good a chance as any of producing
Wheelers have used Jiminy Reno, Kinda Cruel Red and RT's Bo Jangles recently. Realistically all 3 were probably faster racers than Superior Panama, but as we all know that doesn't mean they'll produce at stud

As I have mentioned to you before though Matt, Supeiror Panamas bloodline is undoubtedly, one of the strongest put together bloodlines you will see in greyhound racing across the world. There are so many hall of fame dogs in his bloodline. With his damsire tracing back to the famous representation damline, Kc and all, well we all know what he has achieved, but Panamas damline has thrown open class and all American dogs for generations.
There is no doubting what he has managed to achieve in such a short time in America either, when comparing to the other outcross sires we have available in australia here. Not knocking any of the other outcross sires we have here either, because sires like Sh Avatar and Kinloch Brae, have been phenomenal here also. But I think Panamas price is justified. He is throwing strength, size, chase and Stamina, 4 big ticks in selecting the correct outcross sire for a bitch.

Superior Panama is certainly extremely well bred and his damline has indeed produced many high class performers for decades. But he is not from the Representation damline.

His dam line is the same as Oswald Cobblepot who was the sire of the great Kiowa Sweet Trey.

My bitch, Princess Kiwi (Barcia Bale X Pearls Legacy) just whelped 7 beautiful black pups to him. Very excited about the prospect of this litter. I think he will be a top sire in the future. He is producing top quality pups already from limited bitches.
