I have breed my last 2 litters, there is no buyers of pups. Out of 14 pups I have sold probably 3 pups. 11 pups of the litters is dog pups, should be easier to sell dog pups???? and I am not asking unreasonable money when you sit down and calculate what you spend every day on beef, nuts, wormers etc etc etc. So I am out of breeding game, shame as I enjoy have pups.

Henning we are the same, we have cut down this year to only one litter, people just dont want pups any more and then they want them for next to nothing.
Hi Alan. Yes I agree with you,.. and everything has gone up in price, Nuts, beef, vaccs, wormers is up with at least 20 % over the last couple of years. And pups prices is down?? I do not mind give a good deal on pups but there has to be a limit on prices on pups for it to make sense to breed greyhounds.

is some of the problem the price of pups you can go to the sales here in ireland and buy a good unraced dog for the price of a good pup and your ready to go and you know what you have thanks

Thats what we have been saying, and alote of breaders are loosing on selling pups at the sales, like Henning said people dont want to know how much it cost`s to get them there. Ok what would you pay for a pup out of this litter

As long people give away pups and race dogs for nothing, I am out. I can not afford it, but I do get it when you can buy dogs on sales for nothing??, but that will end and there wont be any breeders to supply the market in the future. I dont mind keep my pups, I wont give them away and they wont go in the sales when reared, waste of money and time. Best of luck Alan with sale of your pups.

saw pups for sale today for 5000 euro what type of dog would you get in the sales for that 10 mts old saplings out of a proven bitch for sale today for 1000 euro i dont know

same here henning 2 litters over past few years kept myself the race dogs same people cant sell
